Όπως έλεγε και ο Duke Ellington, "I don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing", και η μουσική που παρουσιάζουμε σ' αυτό το CD αποδεικνύει του λόγου το αληθές: πραγματικά σουινγκάτη τζαζ που κινείται σε πολλά και ποικίλα στυλ, με μεγάλους μουσικούς, παρμένη από τον ιστορικό κατάλογο της εταιρίας Impulse, κυρίως από το πρώτο μισό των sixties.
